Suncor’s Contribution to the Haiti Earthquake Relief Efforts
Calgary, Alberta (February 12, 2010) -- To assist with Haiti Earthquake relief efforts, the Suncor Energy Foundation is making a $50,000 contribution to the Canadian Red Cross. Suncor and the Foundation will match any employee, contractor, retiree and Petro-Canada retiree donation, up to a maximum of $1,000 to pre-approved organizations.

Suncor Energy helps make roadways safer for motorists
Fort McMurray, Alberta (December 11, 2008) — Suncor Energy is pleased to announce that the new Highway 63 interchange will open on Saturday, December 13 at noon. The interchange, located 25 kilometres north of Fort McMurray, is designed to improve highway safety in the area during the construction and operation of the company’s new Voyageur upgrader, part of its planned $20.6 billion oil sands expansion.
